DESCRIPTION OF LOBBYING, REGULATORY AND LEGAL SERVICES
Among the services offered through our government affairs practice are:
- Initially confer with our client to identify the client's lobbying and regulatory needs and goals.
- Continuous monitoring and tracking of State legislation and proposed regulations which affect the client's interests.
- Drafting of initial and amendments to legislation, arrange for the introduction of bills in the New York State Senate and Assembly, and promote the passage of bills through the Legislature.
- Draft of regulations and suggested modifications to rules affecting the client, participation in rulemaking activities before state agencies.
- Educate the Governor's Office, the State Legislature and state agencies of the client's interest, issues, and positions thereby creating visibility for the client before officials relevant to the client's needs in State government.
- Coordinate and assist client efforts to contact the appropriate legislators, staff members, members of the governor and lieutenant governor's staff and State agency officials.
- Advocate on behalf of the client by communicating the client's position on proposed legislation or regulations.
- Regularly confer with clients to communicate information about substantive, political and other activities in the State's Capitol and to evaluate positions and strategies.
- Assist the client in complying with all laws, rules, and regulations of the State of New York including those laws pertaining to lobbying and those specific laws and regulations pertaining to each client's interest.
Although lobbying is a fundamental base of our government affairs practice, we are able to offer clients the additional services of regulatory and legal representation. Most of our clients' issues begin with legislation before the State Legislature and the Governor's Office, but eventually become the responsibility of state agencies to implement, promulgate and ultimately enforce. We possess experience in representing clients in the regulatory and legal arenas following the enactment of state laws.

Worked in the New York State Assembly and has over 25 years experience as an attorney and a lobbyist representing individuals, private corporations, trade associations, and coalitions before the State Legislature, the Governor's Office and State.
Admitted to practice law before all New York State Courts, the Federal Northern District Court of New York, and is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court.
