Keeping Points off Your License
Every time you get convicted for a traffic violation, your license gets a certain number of "points." In speeding ticket defense, it's important to minimize these points — each one may make your auto insurance premium go up. Plus, if you get 11 points or more, or three speeding convictions, during an 18-month period, your license could be suspended or revoked after a hearing at the DMV.
